Panama is an air travel Hub, with more than 30 available international destinations. A total of US$21 million dollars will be invested in the expansion of the Tocumen International Airport passenger Terminal. This alone is a clear indication of the country’s steady and sturdy expansion. Air transportation was one of the most dynamic economic activities in 2005. It registered at an impressive 18% growth.

Panama is a world-class adventure. There are rivers in Panama that allow you to go down 20 rapids in one afternoon. You will also find a wide selection of beaches and islands.  With coasts both in the Caribbean and the Pacific Ocean, it is no wonder that  an outstanding number (1,518) of islands may be found.

Panama has the greatest variety of attractions of any Central American country; for example, exotic beaches, seven living indigenous cultures, without mentioning ”the 8th wonder of the world,” the Panama Canal. There are more than nine hundred bird species registered in Panama. This number surpasses the US and Canada combined. There are excellent natural resources, such as unexplored virgin forests.

Panama’s tropical rainforest national parks are pristine and intact. While in some countries we find 20 tourists observing one bird, in Panama we find one tourist observing 20 birds.

Natural disasters such as hurricanes and earthquakes that often affect our Central American neighbors, do not occur in Panama. A pleasant tropical climate is found in Panama all year round.
